Masters of Midnight: Nocturnal Animals 

We are all familiar with the term 'Nocturnal'. Basically animals who are night people. They hunt, fly, walk, slither etc., at night. Well, I think they're pretty cool, considering the fact that the owl is one of my top ten favorite animals. Imagine chilling out during the day and waking up in the middle of the night with NIGHT VISION!! WHA-??. Anyways nocturnal animals have amazing senses. They may not be on top of the food chain, but they're definitely one of the popular kids. Moving on, this post will mainly be focusing on just three animals. 

The Owl: When you think of nocturnal animals, the first animal that pops up to most people are Owls. And if not then you're probably lying or you're just weird. I'm sorry, but it's true. Owls have got a reputation now because of the very famous novel by J.K Rowling. But Snowy Owls aren't the only type of owl. There are Barn Owls, which have a heart-shaped face. There are Snowy Owls-which are almost everyone's favorite. They live in (you wouldn't believe it) snowy areas. And the most menacing looking owl of the century- the  Great Horned Owl which is my personal favorite and come on guys, they put 'great' in its name for a reason. Anyways owls, like most Nocturnal Animals have night vision. And they can twist their necks to 270 degrees, okay that's weird. But owls are basically Batman but... fluffier, hey now that's cool. And if owls were humans, they would definitely be spies cause those wings work better than your noise cancelling headphones, just sayin'. You might say "I've never seen an owl in my life" maybe it's because you've never heard one. For the hundredth time, owls are cool, unless you're a mouse then not cool. Owls are also a symbol of wisdom, cause they look like they know how the entire flipping universe was created. They're also a symbol of death, so uh.... good luck with that.

 Racoons: Okay, you cannot   convince  me that   Racoons are   not stealthy ninjas. Like every   now  and then they raid the house,   and take a   few things with them.   Like pizza (that's   iconic) and other stuff. They're really witty   too. So much that they know when and where   the food is gonna come. Besides racoons have   hands which are equivalent to an experienced   thief. They can actually open jars with those very-human-hands. I guess it's because they have like the black mask of snack terrors, that make them so mysterious. Like why can't I be this cool? Not gonna lie but racoons are the best animal of all time. There have been several videos of racoons pressing buttons and unplugging WIFI routers. But racoons are masters of dumpster diving and can come in handy when you want to retrieve something from the dumpster. High chance they'll never give it back (Pedro, Pedro, Pedro🎵)

The Red Fox: This animal is actually very similar to the Racoon, (Well it comes from he same family thingy, genetics, IKR) It's the red fox. The red fox is named for it's reddish coat, which looks so aesthetic and like me, they don't have any friends so HA LOSE- wait?. Anyways they can make over 40 different sounds (bro might as well be an actor) and use the Earth's magnetic field to hunt, so like foxes are actors and scientists? What would you do if you saw a deadly fox, with it's sharp claws and pointed teeth? Yeah human fight or flight mode activated. RUN! That's what any NORMAL person would do. But these guys are pretty friendly, they just want a hug (Cuz they're lonely LOSE- ok I should stop) These guys can sniff food in like even in winter, so they're like.. Mufasa now? They're Omnivores meaning they eat both  animals and plants. Their diet consists of insects, raw meat and some berries. Some are even found in cities. So, like the racoon they're also thieves. Did you know that the average lifespan of the red fox is only 3-4 years, but they do have retractable claws. SO, I guess that makes up for their short lifespan. Some people even have foxes as pets and now I want them. But some biologists advise not to feed them because they'll eventually forget how to hunt and along with that they will not be able to survive. SO YEAH.......
