Nature's Medicine Cabinet

Nature's Medicine Cabinet✿

Have you ever gone outside? No, I don't mean shopping. I mean going outside to do nature stuff—plants, flowers, the great outdoors. If you have, then good job! Keep it up. Assuming you have, then I reckon you must've seen a lot of plants. (Sure, all of them are green, but what can you do about chlorophyll?) Just make sure you don't go inhaling them all, because it's your life—and you're not listening to a twelve-year-old. Plants can be very dangerous, but they can also heal your wounds, burns, even poison.

✿Plant Doctors Aloe Vera: You must all know the infamous aloe Vera plant with it's spiky and fleshy towers (which are actually their leaves but they adapted to the hot habitat in which they grow, the desert). It might look good on photos, but their powers don't stop there-they've got a whole list of benefits under their sleeve. If you ever find yourself camping, and you get a cut on your arm or knee and you've run out of bandages? Well, no fear! Aloe Vera has got you covered. It's getting too hot and you just wanna lay down but the ground is too hot and you get a burn? Aloe Vera has go- okay I'll stop. It also anti-inflammatory properties which means that when your skin is freaking out, then it helps. Oh yeah, it also helps when your skin is drier than the Sahara Desert (A.K.A the largest desert in the world). Some people even drink aloe-Vera juice (Wonder how that tastes) which aids in constipation and indigestion. Extra Benefits- It's easy to grow and keeps you company!   Peppermint: First, you might think, peppermint is the candy, not a plant. But you might know it better as the plant 'mint'. It's very green, like neon green, okay maybe not NEON green but you get the point. It grows in bunches and  grows in partly shaded environments. It is often used in beverages like sodas and to fancy up some dishes. But apart from it's aromatic smell and spicy toothpaste, mint has it's uses. Like for example aiding digestion and relieving headaches. And like the peppermint candy, it's a natural mouth freshener. But uh... just remember to wash those greenies before chucking them into your mouth. And mint tea is the most common tea after lemon and is great for soothing your sore throats. Apart from that, it is easy to grow and doesn't need a whole lot of sunlight, which means if you have trouble taking care of plants, then mint is the plant for you!Chamomile: Chamomile is a very beautiful plant and makes good photos for the aesthetic gurlies. It looks like a daisy with  You might have heard or know what chamomile tea is, yup it's from this beauty right here. It's used for treating insomnia (sleep deprivation) which I think would would help that guy from the FNAF movie. Anyways back to the point plant (😏) It's great for reducing stress anxiety (I know THE song is playing in your head) So the next time you procrastinate your project just prepare a cup of calming chamomile tea just in case. It's used to fight fevers and colds and strengthens your immune system. It also gives a sense of menstrual relief means it minimizes the muscle cramps and discomfort. It helps in reducing bloating and just tastes amazing with a dollop of honey. It's used in many creams and lotions and skin care (look at the ingredient list bruh) and is anti-inflammatory and clears up your acne (but you are beautiful in every angle gurly #positivevibesonly). It can be used as a mouth wash and a cool tea bag of chamomile can help to cure those puffy and tired eyes (get some sleep!). It's easy to grow and makes aesthetic profile pics!
