Skyflix: Brushstrokes of the Sky

Cloud Gazing: Brushstrokes of the Sky

Okay, I want you close your eyes and imagine this- you're apartment's internet connection went off (again) and you have nothing to do, you finished reading all the books you bought and forgot to go the store to get more. You get ready, only to realize it's Sunday. Then you realize something. An intense sport you used to play when you were little. Yes it's cloud gazing. Ok, now open your eyes. Now you'll have felt a sudden urge to go outside and stare at the sky.

First of all, cloud gazing doesn't need any subscription, no WIFI, it's all free. It's all about the imagination and how you see the world. If you're emo, you might have the sudden inspiration to make a poem, if you're an artist you might try to re-create the sky and it's clouds, or you might just sit there and stare.

Types of Clouds: This might make me sound very nerdy, but there are actually types of clouds
1.Cirrus: These clouds are basically the mean girls. They contain ice-crystals, yes they're heartless.
2.Cumulus: These are the well fed clods. They're fat chunky and take up most of the picture.
3.Stratus: These are the emo-kids,. They're grey and probably spend most of their time writing haikus and poems.
4.Nimbus: These guys are the salty guys, who go to the café to get a quadruple shot of expresso (Sabrina Carpenter, if you're reading this, you're songs are fire)

Now for the perfect setup:
Step 1. Pick the perfect spot (Green hill, with lots of flowers)
Step 2. Grab you favorite blanket.
Step 3. Grab a few snacks, watching skyflix is hard work(M&Ms recommended)
Step 4. Bring sunglasses(no reason, just to make you feel more cooler than you actually feel)
Step 5. Drag a friend along to debate whether that cloud looks like a mushroom or a pineapple.
Step 6. Tag along a sketchbook, sketch how the clouds look in your imagination and compare it with your friends, and get ready to roast your own drawings. Comedy gold right there
(especially if you have no experience with drawing)

This activity is applicable for all ages, and it's super fun too, especially if you have a friend who can make any boring activity, fun!!
