Whale Wisdom: Exploring the World of Whales

Whale Wisdom: Exploring the World of Whales

First of all let me get this straight, I love whales. Even though Tiger Sharks are my favorite animal of all time, whale are up there. But I wish that we could see them often, cause they look like they could pull all your secrets out of you, with those eyes. And um... no whales don't fly, pictures can be misleading but I just took this just for the aesthetic. I really hated the 1960s where people would capture whales, quote on quote "for fun". Anyways let's look at the life of a whale and some unique whales that are EXTREMELY rare!

Life Of The Monstrosity known as the WHALE!

The life of a whale starts like any other marine animal, being born into this world and finally opening its eyes to see the dangers and miracles that lie at it's feet fins. It depends on its mother at the early stages of life and learns the ways and skill it takes to become a whale, independant to find its own food, fend of predators and protect its territory. It learns how to come up to the surface to breathe, to spout out water and learn proper swimming techniques. When they are born, they are naturally pretty big (depending on the whale of course)

As they mature, (#enteringthatemostage) they begin to understand and explore their surroundings (Dora who?) and socialize with its fellow..... I don't know how to put this, but the best wording for this is 'friends'.

Gradually, it becomes an independent whale and ventures off into the world and thrives..... until the 1960s came and the whale population was literally shuddering (dodged a bullet there bud).

  Some Unique Whale

Humpback Whale: This whale is common but very unique. These whales use a lot of complex sounds to communicate with their buddies. Every time you  sit down to eat your dinner, always remember that there is always a humpback whale that doesn't have teeth and can't eat a bowl of mac-n-cheese. They eat shrimps instead (rich lil' bros). And for their big size, humpback whales have a clean, no-killing-humans, record, and they'll do anything in their power to avoid human contact. These whales are smart, in fact they're the top of their class (probably, IDK) Humpback whales are special because of their huge migration distances, about 5000 miles per migration (no biggie). They actually live for about 80-90 years, which, might I add, is insane! Humpback whales often roll on their sides and flap their fins as a gesture of communication to their buddies. Here is a little video to showcase the sound, humpback whales make. Enjoy

Blue Whale:  As we all know (I assume) the blue whale, is the largest mammal on earth, and yes they're mammals. They're also carnivores which is a surprise cause I thought they were peaceful. They have tongues the weight of an elephant, thank goodness they stayed underwater, imagine if they lived on land. These creatures must eat the size of their bodies, which is 4 tons of krill (a kind of shrimp) According to many sources, yes I do lots of research before writing a post, blue whales aren't (you wouldn't believe it) blue, they're actually a kind of grey which has been mulled over, they just look blue in the water. When they move they go at 5 miles p/h and when they're getting chased or worried they run swim at 20 miles p/h. They have really good hearing, cause they can hear each other when they're 1000 miles apart, and use a series of groans, shrieks and moans to communicate with each other.

Vaquita Marina: Now this is a sad one, this whale is almost extinct, with having only 30 left in the world. By the way, their name in Spanish 🤗 means lil' sea cow probably because it's actually tiny, which is kind of ironic cause they're also the largest animals on Earth. They're maximum growth is only 140-150 cm. They only live in the Gulf of California (ca-lifornia girls, we're unforgettable.. 🎵) so... yeah.

Many whales, are critically endangered, so the least us humans can do is not throwing garbage in the sand or waves and sign up for beach clean-ups. Every little step, leads to the next. Oof... that was cringe.
I made this in Google's emoji kitchen-

I officially got carried away, Byeeeeeeee!!!
